Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Technician to join our finance team in London, UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support in various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions and records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable and Payable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure accuracy.

• Financial Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain updated records of transactions. Verify and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

• Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and financial records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines. Track and analyze expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is desirable but not essential.

Salary and Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is £20,000 - £34,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
